Diagnosis and Solution: This happens when any data import routine has taken longer than the time indicated by the allow-data-delay or allow-kpi-delay (for KPI connectors) parameters from lhs\etc\lhs-synkerrc.yml configuration file. If such an event occurs, Synker proceeds to self-annihilate and it is external responsibility to restart it. Some possible causes for this to happen are listed below:
- Connection to the client database was lost: Synker tried to import the data using the connectors but it couldn't because of the lost connection. When the limit time is accomplished, Synker proceeds to self-annihilate. In this case, you should check the database access credentials in lhs\etc\lhs-connectors.yml configuration file and try to access the client FMS database using SSMS. If it is OK, restart Synker. If not, notify immediately the operations team.
- The connector enters an infinite loop: Connector gets stuck on infinite iteration so Synker couldn't retrieve the data. In this case, you should review the involved connector.
