Diagnosis and Solution: This happens when any data import routine has taken longer than the time indicated by the allow-data-delay or allow-kpi-delay (for KPI connectors) parameters from lhs\etc\lhs-synkerrc.yml configuration file. If such an event occurs, Synker proceeds to self-annihilate and it is external responsibility to restart it. Some possible causes for this to happen are listed below:

  1. Connection to the client database was lost: Synker tried to import the data using the connectors but it couldn't because of the lost connection. When the limit time is accomplished, Synker proceeds to self-annihilate. In this case, you should check the database access credentials in lhs\etc\lhs-connectors.yml configuration file and try to access the client FMS database using SSMS. If it is OK, restart Synker. If not, notify immediately the operations team.
  2. The connector enters an infinite loop: Connector gets stuck on infinite iteration so Synker couldn't retrieve the data. In this case, you should review the involved connector.
